Connect providers

Connect WhatsApp (WAAPI, Meta, Twilio)

Three ways to send WhatsApp messages; choose by how you already hold your number.

Where to connect#

Open Integrations in the dashboard, pick the provider and paste the values below. Nerja verifies them before saving; credentials are encrypted at rest and shown only masked afterwards.

What you need#

  • WAAPI — API token and Instance ID from waapi.app.
  • Meta WhatsApp (official Cloud API) — press Connect with Facebook and share your WhatsApp Business account. No keys are pasted.
  • Twilio WhatsApp — Account SID, Auth Token and the WhatsApp from number, written as whatsapp:+14155238886.

Heads up

A WAAPI trial instance can message only its own receiver number, is rate limited (10 requests per 5 minutes) and expires after three days. Use a paid instance for real campaigns. A Twilio sandbox is limited the same way (verified numbers, about five messages a day).

With the official Meta API, messages sent outside the 24-hour customer window must use templates that Meta has approved.

WhatsApp goes only to contacts that have a phone number.

After connecting#

Send yourself a test message from the provider card, then launch a small campaign to a test audience and check delivered / opened in the campaign page.

Note

There is no shared fallback: if a channel has no connected provider, those messages fail instead of being sent from a Nerja account.
