Push notifications
Push templates
Title, message, image, icon, button and app link — what each field does and what the device shows.
Fields#
| Field | What it is | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Title | The bold first line | Up to 120 characters |
| Message | The notification text | Plain text; a product link is moved out and used as the tap target |
| Large image | A picture shown in the expanded notification | https only. If empty, the campaign's featured product photo is used |
| Icon | Small brand image (web push) | https only |
| CTA label / URL | The button and where it goes | URL must be on your website; blank = your store/product link |
| App link | An in-app screen, e.g. myshop://product?url={{productUrl}} | Optional — see Deep links |
Variables#
Use {{firstName}}, {{productName}}, {{productUrl}}, {{cartUrl}}, {{brandName}}, {{productImage}}, {{productPrice}}, {{discountAmount}} and {{discountCode}} in the title, message and links. A campaign that references a variable Nerja cannot fill is refused at launch, so a literal {{productName}} never reaches a customer.
Links#
Tap links are click-tracked and signed. They always resolve inside your own website — a template cannot send customers to another domain.
What each platform shows#

| iOS | Yes | Needs the Notification Service Extension | Fixed title chosen in the app (iOS limitation) | App icon |
| Web / Safari Home Screen | Yes | Yes | Action button | Template icon |
